HopScotch was founded in 2019 (bad timing).  We remain proudly owner operated, and continue to stick to our ethos of whisky for everyone.  

We love whisky and community, but have never been fans of exclusivity and dress codes that can sometimes be associated with whisky bars.  HopScotch is casual, friendly, and affordable - think of us as your local...but with 200+ whiskies.

Today you'll find hundreds of whiskies on our backbar, with around 60-70% of the list available for between £6-8 a dram, which if we do say so ourselves it pretty impressive in 2026.

We also recognise that not everyone is into whisky, which is why we also have local craft beer, an amazing selection bottled beers including Lambic, and a solid cocktail list.
